St. Regis, Montana to Missoula, Montana June 11th

Went through a time zone just as we crossed into Montana last night so threw us off a bit this morning. Bill rolled out at 8:30 after emptying the tanks....
(fun stuff! LOL!)and I took care of all the inside stuff. When we were at the Kahnderosa the day before I took a  picture of the restroom building....I love a little campground humor. :)
Bill said to leave in about an hour and a half so I was able to get all the makeup, bed making and dishwashing done before I left. I stopped to take a picture of the entrance on my way out.
This was really a nice place, everything was as clean as a whistle; had a gift shop too, lots of hand carved bears and animals made right here in Montana. I had just driven out the gate when Bill called.....another flat.
Fortunately, he was very close to Superior so I drove the 13 miles and met him there. He had already patched the tube, just needed more air from the small air compressor we carry on board. After the tire was filled, we were both off toward the rest area down the road about 17 miles. As soon as I drove in, it started to pour. It's only 57 degrees so we might have to sit out some rain. Will see how soaked he is when he gets here. Oh, I almost forgot, it's been one month today since we left Tennessee, and we haven't wanted to kill each other yet! LOL! The little beach house on wheels works really well and I love the size of the kitchen. So, Bill pedals up dry as a bone! The rain totally missed him. There was another parking area about 11 miles down the road, so I pulled in amongst the trucks to wait for him. I would have liked to wander around a bit, but with all these guys around, I stayed in the cab. Since it was a downhill run for Bill, it wasn't long before we headed off toward Frenchtown. One thing I have noticed in Montana, is the casinos; they are in even the smallest towns. Driving along the interstate is fine, but I miss getting pictures of things along the way. I think next week we're going to be stopping in every town with police and fire and go back to our regular routine. Until now, it's been difficult finding a side road that doesn't wander off into the mountains somewhere. From Frenchtown I made it to the Jellystone Campground in Missoula. I pulled in and managed to impress the neighbors! LOL! "Look, a girl can drive one of these things!" I'm tellin' ya, this is giving me a big head, I'd better be careful though, might get knocked on my butt! I do get pleasure from having the camper all set up when Bill comes pedaling up at the end of the day. When he arrived, he hooked up the water for me and showed me the pictures he took along the way. This one shows how close the trucks are to him when he's on the interstate.....
and this is the view on his right side..
sure glad that you all are praying for him. Tomorrow is our day of rest, thank-you for reading.
